Where To See CAI and SMITHS Gauges in 2018
CAI will be exhibiting at two major events in 2018 as well as supporting their global distributors at their local and national events.
"Being at major automotive events gives us a fantastic opportunity to meet and speak with the people installing and using our gauges," explained Gavin Roberts, CAI's Managing Director. "It is great to hear what projects they are working on and also determine what new gauge designs we need to prioritise."
In 2018, CAI had stands exhibiting SMITHS gauges at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Busfest.
"At Goodwood we launched the new digital tachometer for the classic E-Type Jaguar and we were fortunate enough to have a beautifully restored model right next to our stand. There was a fantastic level of interest and we will be back in 2018. We also plan to have a stand at the Goodwood Revival, where many of the cars racing around the track already have our SMITHS instruments in their dashboards."
SMITHS gauges are synonymous with classic cars and motorcycles, with the rich history stretching back to one of the first speedometers design and manufactured for King Edward VII in 1904.
In 2018, we will have stands at the following events:
The 2018 Festival of Speed theme will celebrate the event's 25th anniversary: "Festival of Speed - The Silver Jubilee".
The romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.
In the UK, our distributor Digital Speedos will be attending many shows for motorcycles and cars. A full list of the exhibitions and dates can be found on their website.
We hope to see you at one or more of the events in 2018. For further information on our range of gauges please do not hesitate to contact us via:
