The New Brough SS100 Motorcycle Gauges

When you are designing and then manufacturing gauges for iconic motorcycles, you have a responsibility to respect the history behind the name.  Working with Brough Superior on the new SS100 motorcycle is one of those very special projects.  The Brough Superior SS100 was on display at the London XL Motorcycle show (February 2016) and there was a real buzz of excitement around the stand.

Brough Superior SS100

Every SS100 is built to order, with 3 different finishes of Traditional, Racing Full Back or Titanium.  It is a example of superior motorcycle craftmanship from design through to manufacture and it was essential that the gauges we designed and supplied mirrored that exceptional quality standard.

CAI worked with Boxer Design on the design of the brand new speedometer for the SS100. The speedometer incorporates our OLED display and has an array of the normal motorcycle warning lights.  The styling fits perfectly with the sleek design of the SS100 body.

The SS100 is currently being built in final prototype form in a custom built factory near Toulouse, where during a recent visit, final software modifications were agreed and the final stage of testing was completed. The Brough Superior SS100 already has significant interest with the first production run being planned soon.

We specialise in working closely with designers at the early concept stage to design speedometers, rev counters and other gauges that reflect the style and history of the brand and the specific design of motorcycle.  Brough Superior is just one of a number of renown motorcycles that feature gauges designed and supplied by CAI.  Our technical sales team will be present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and are available to discuss new and old gauges supplied by CAI and SMITHS Instruments.
