Hello

SMITHS Gauges at Classic Motor Show

SMITHS gauges feature in many classic cars and motorcycles and will be on display on the Digital Speedos stand (TV112) at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show (NEC, Birmingham 10-12 November 2017).

As well as being displayed on the stand, many of the classic cars on show will have SMITHS gauges mounted in their dashboards.  SMITHS has a tremendous history of supplying instrumentation for some of the most desired and loved classic cars and motorcycles including one of the world's first speedometers designed and manufactured for King Edward VII in 1904.

SMITHS instruments continue to be manufactured in the UK by Caerbont Automotive Instruments using many of the original designs and manufacturing drawings.  The list of classic cars featuring SMITHS gauges is impressive and includes iconic models such as:

There are also specialist instruments including a Vacuum GaugeDual Gauges and the new Boost Gauge (inspired by the Porsche 911).

SMITHS instruments are also commonly found on many classic motorcycles including:

On their stand TV112, Digital Speedos will be displaying a range of SMITHS gauges for both cars and motorcycles and their engineers will be on hand to help advise on the installation and replacement of speedometers, tachometers and other gauges.
