Motorcycle Gauges on Show at Kickback Cheltenham
On Sunday August 21st, the Cheltenham Racecourse will host the 2016 Cheltenham Festival of Bikes. On show will be some of the most exquisite classics; beautifully engineered customs; rare vintage race bikes; and stunning specials.
CAI has designed and manufactured classic gauges for some stunning motorcycles including the Old Empire Motorcycles Pup and the new Brough Superior SS100. Understanding and appreciating the history of the motorcycle is essential during both the design and manufacturing process. CAI started the manufacture of gauges for motorcycles in 2011, initially producing a Classic range for marques such as BSA, Triumph and Norton bikes that were produced in the 1960s and 70s. The range of gauges for motorcycles has since expanded rapidly and CAI designs can be seen on classic motorcycles including those manufactured by Midual and Metisse.
At Kickback Cheltenham, CAI motorcycle gauges will be on display on the stand S30 of UK distributor, Digital Speedos. On view will be the full range of Smiths branded motorcycle gauges including Chronometric, Black Bold Face, Grey Face and Norton Branded designs.
The Digital Speedos team will be available to discuss any gauge issue including installation and maintenance. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and touch the gauges and get an appreciation of the design and build quality.
