INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
BEGINNING THE JOB
- The water temperature sender
records up to 250 degrees
Fahrenheit or 120 degrees
Centigrade. It has either a
5/8" UNF or a 1/8"
x 27 NPT thread, and a single
blade connection to the water
temperature gauge. The
1/8" x 27 NPT sender can be fitted with
adapters
that will allow fitment to a large range of
engines.
- The sender should not be
overtightened on
installation, but if problems
with sealing are encountered
then a little PTFE tape on
the threads of the sender
usually does the trick,
making sure that the PTFE
does not interfere with a
good earth connection between
the body of the sender and
it's mounting position.
