Fuel Level Sender Installation
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ THROUGH THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING TASK
STEPS
THE FLOAT ARM WIRE CAN CAUSE INJURY PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE, USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES
When the float has been correctly positioned on the wire trim off the excess wire.
IF A WIRE CUTTER IS USED HOLD THE END OF THE WIRE TO PREVENT THE CUT PIECE FROM FLYING OFF AND CAUSING INJURY
AT THIS POINT THE TANK SHOULD BE CHECKED TO ENSURE THAT IT IS FREE FROM ANY DEBRIS, DIRT, LOOSE SCREWS ETC.
Install the unit, float first into the tank and align the screw holes with those on the sender flange and the gasket. Insert the mounting screws and tighten securely but DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
